An Open Letter to Disney

Hello CEO Chapek, 

My wife and I got became engaged to marry at Disneyland in front of the castle in 1991,  and we’re shareholders.  I’ve loved Disney as long as I can recall (and I’m 64 years young)!  

Are you aware that Disney’s major customer demographic is the traditional family?  Over the years, we have faithfully:  

  • taken Disney vacations, 
  • attended Disney movies and events, 
  • bought Disney merch including DVDs, apparel, and
  • much more!  

Are you aware that LGBTQ / Trans comprise up to 4% of US population, but heterosexuals comprise over 90% of US population, and married man-woman families comprise about 70% of US population!  WE, the heterosexual, traditional family are the 600-pound gorilla in Disney’s customer base!!  

Are you aware that Disney, by its militant and public pushing of radical LGBTQ / Trans agenda, is pushing your main customer group away, and we’re not going to patronize any Disney-branded product until you publicly recant Disney’s radical position, and instruct your personnel to cease the in-your-face promotion of LGBTQ / Trans agenda (in movies, at theme parks, etc.).  

What people do in their own bedrooms is their own business, but Disney must stop force-feeding its customers the radical LGBTQ / Trans agenda.  

Live the way you want, but keep the in-your-face promotion of radical LGBTQ/Trans stuff OUT of your theme parks and movies, if you wish to retain your largest customer base.  PUSHING this radical agenda is not in Disney’s best business interest.  

Thanks for your consideration!  I’d appreciate hearing your reply in writing, please.

Dear Mr. Chapek, 

I agree with Mark Matta, a friend. 

I represent a large contingency in the USA. I concur with all things Mr. Matta stated in his letter to you concerning Disney. We, too, used to go see Disney movies, and to Disneyland Resorts in Orange County. We took our four adopted children from China our own children to enjoy your fare. 

We also have served God in our ministries and in life for a very long time.  

We remember good Christians in top executive positions at Disney.

Your current policies denigrate hard working people, traditional families, and Christians like me.  

I suggest you do a turn-around at your Disney. Or you will undoubtedly suffer great loss to your attendance and purchases at Disney parks and other entertainment which once honored children and families in particular.  We certainly will not patronize Disney unless you radically change your direction.
